Emma Nowak Tributes

Emma was cremated on the 7th of June 2007.

A poem from Environcin:

They say memories are golden

Well, maybe that is true.

I never wanted memories,

I only wanted you.

A million times I needed you,

A million times I cried.

If love alone could save you,

You never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,

In death I love you still.

In my heart you hold a place,

No one else could ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway,

And heartache made a lane.

I'd walk the path to heaven and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken,

And nothing seems the same.

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to
Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross
Rainbow Bridge together....

Today I miss you my angel...

You come and go in my mind and I can only breathe.

Nothing will bring you back, but I know you're with me.

You were my everything, my life, my heart.

Today I miss you my angel...

Nothing compares to you and I wish you were here, today.

You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all she's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

This candle is dedicated to Emma, the lively puppy I knew, and to be reminded of the love she gave my sister who loved her so much.
Emma will always bring fond memories.

Emma was your name
Emma-Jane when I called you sometimes just to be silly
You listened to every word when we had our conversations. With your eyes you understood and nodded your head from side to side as if to say....hmmm..OK..Your place in the sun next to my bed will now be taken over by Biscuit again. Even he treated you like the Princess you where.
