Corky was a 6 1/2 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He was very well behaved and very protective over me. He loved to go swimming in the ocean with me any chance we could get down there. Corky was diagnosed with Lymphosarcoma in March of this year and was doing very good on the Chemo, but it quit working and ended up takin his life on July 27th.
He was a great dog and family member. He loved life and lived itto its fullest. He loved everybody and made it a point to greet every person that came through the door or that he met on the street. Corky's personality was his own. Once he got to be around 3-4 years old he would not let my husband touch me or blow kisses to me. He was that jealous. If he heard us talking or heard him blow me a kiss (I could blow kisses all day) he would run in there where we were barking and growling and stand between us or if I was sitting down jump in my lap to let him know, "hey she is mine". If you have seen it happen you know it was so cute and funny when he did that. Corky was also very protective in this manner over children. He did not like to hear babies cry or children fighting. Sometimes when the kids would play fight he would still go in there and stand between them like he was wanting them to stop. Corky's favorite thing to do was chase our feet when we were swinging, riding a bike, or running. If you were doing any of those things you better watch out for Corky because he would be right there.

Sometimes due to veterinarian bills or financial hardship, pet owners suffering from pet loss are unable or unwilling to pay for pet memorials.
It is very difficult for us at Immortal Pets to delete memorials especially one such as this. We try to sponsor some of them temporarily while funds allow until the pet owner is able to contribute to the pet memorial or in some cases kind hearted pet owners make donations to help us keep pet memorials online.
We would also like to use this space to encourage pet lovers to continue to support your local ASPCA. By reading these pet memorials you will find a great many of these wonderful animals were adopted from the ASPCA or other shelters. Please help us continue to support the animal shelters.
