Bear

Bear.....

Bear was my first dog. I loved him more than anything. Yet our neighbors found him as a stray. Everyday I would go feed him, give him water, and brush his wild fur. That dog changed my life, and opened my eyes. He showed him the beauty of nature, and the bond of a girl and her dog.

Bear was such a curious dog, he would sniff everything in sight. He would try to climb trees until he relized that he couldn't climb. He would chase the couple of cars that passed every day. We lived in the country away from everyone. yet sadly his curiousity killed him....

He was chasing a snowblower, when the driver had to back up. The driver didn't relize that Bear was there. The blades in the back killed him instantly. Sadly as soon as I decided to bring a camera to take a picture... my neighbor told me what had happened. It was a tragidy indeed for a 7 year old girl to hear that her dog had gursomely been killed.

I had never got to say good-bye to that dog, and yet my motto keeps him alive....

Don't Forget... and They'll Never Leave...

Rest In Peace, Bear
